Each year countless innocent dogs and puppies are euthanized due to overcrowding in dog shelters. These dogs have suffered so much in their lives and only want the chance to find a loving family. Our mission is to help save dogs in need, especially those at risk of euthanasia in shelters.

Mission Mutt Dog Rescue, a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to rescuing abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs. Our primary goal is to offer them a chance at a new life in loving forever homes, one adoption at a time.
Mission Mutt Dog Rescue was founded by Madison Kossow in 2023. With a deep passion for animal welfare, Madison wanted to formulate a foster-based rescue so that each dog feels loved throughout their time in the rescue until their new family is found.

Join our dog rescue and make a difference in the lives of animals while earning service hours! We offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and fulfill their community service requirements by providing foster care to our furry friends in need.
Filling out the owner surrender request does not mean that your dog will be taken to the rescue. We are an entirely foster-based rescue with limited resources, which determines the number of dogs we are able to have in our care.
